RACISM IN THE WORKPLACE

"No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite."

-Nelson Mandela

Race discrimination is also known as racism, which is the belief that a race of people is inferior to another. Along with sex or gender, race is protected under Title VII.This also states that employers cannot discriminate against an individual because of their race.
However, one of the most prevalent discrimination characteristic at workplace is race. Employers tend to discriminate among employees based on their race. This paper attempts to shed light on the stories of individuals who have been racially discriminated at workplace.
